Hi, I can't wait to try this recipe but don't have worcestershire sauce and Hoisin sauce in my pantry. Can I substitute them with Soy sauce? I know this might alter the taste but that's all I have :-( please advise
Should be fine Kulsoom. Make sure the hot and sweet balance is perfect, that's it. Use more red chillies if you want it on the hotter side or more honey (in the absence of hoisin sauce) to make it sweeter. The outcome should be more or less the same.
