Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich

I guess this recipe does not merit a blog post. It's as simple as can be. But these are the only things I've been making of late, so if I don't post them, the blog will become lazy.
It's good, though. This grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Doesn't need very many ingredients, not an awful lot of prep time. In fact, none at all. Just get hold of some good quality white bread, butter and mustard them generously, pack a couple of pieces of ham in between two bread slices and layer a slice of mozzarella on top. Grill for 10 minutes and pounce. And then feel the cheese oozing in your mouth and the saltiness of the ham giving it perfect partnership. You can absolutely add a leaf of lettuce for the crunch, but I didn't have it at home.
This sandwich totally gives you the perfect guilty comfort you need during these summer months. Zero cooking but completely lust-worthy. So what the heck, indulge!
PS: Please someone tell me how to take good photograph of breads/sandwiches? I seem to be such a moron at that. :(

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

White bread slices: 2
Butter: 1 tbsp
English Mustard: 3/4 tsp
Ham slices: 2
Mozzarella cheese slice: 1 (Amul cheese slice will do too, but not as well)
Oregano, for seasoning
Red Chilli Flakes, for seasoning
Roasted garlic flakes, for seasoning (optional)
Salt, to taste (optional, both the ham and cheese have some salt)

Method:

1. Generously spread butter on the bread slices. Go easy on the mustard because pungency might hit you hard.

2. Layer the ham slices on the bread and top it with a slice of mozzarella. Sprinkle the seasonings.

3. Preheat oven at 200 degree C and allow it grill for 10 minutes. You can do it on the grill mode as well. It's just that the oven makes it crispier.

4. Your in-house grilled ham and cheese decadence is ready to be served with piles of fries on the side. :)
